OGDEN – The Shins will return to Ogden as part of the Ogden Dusk summer concert series.
They must perform on August 6, according to a post on the Ogden Twilight Facebook page, filling one of the two series slots that had still remained open. The act for the series’ final night, October 1, has yet to be announced.
“The Shins are coming back to Ogden Twilight!” They were the first artist to sell Ogden Amphitheater and really helped put this series on the map,” the Ogden Twilight post said.
This sold-out show by Shins took place during the Ogden Twilight Series in 2017, the first of a long run of the summer series that has filled the Ogden Amphitheater since then. Indeed, organizers say many shows in this year’s series, which begins June 21 with a performance by Bleachers, are sold out, including this show Bleachers, the August 9 show featuring The National, the show August 25 Beach House, August 30 Modest Mouse performance and September 17 Flume performance.
“Don’t doze off buying tickets. If you missed a show, try the 24Tix reseller link under each event. If you have tickets and you cannot attend a performance, you can easily register your tickets there, ”advise the organizers of concert series. Most of the lineup for 2022 was announced on March 18. Series tickets are sold at 24tix.com and tickets for The Shins show go on sale Friday.
